The proverb Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak no Evil is pressingly relevant today as we struggle to acknowledge the climate crisis or other complex world problems, and fear speaking about it and disturbing ‘business as usual’.  Pleasurable consumer culture distractions catch our intention instead, even as they fuel the very crisis we shy from.  The sculptures’ hollow and fragmented bodies reflect this agonised state.
